About CaroNet
CaroNet builds software and infrastructure for organizations whose work doesn’t fit neatly into an existing product. Workforce connects AI agents to internal tools and data, with local inference when the data needs to stay on-prem. InfraHost provides the compute and networking behind hosted applications. Alongside those products, we take on custom development and publish research from our own engineering work.
Our research also includes Project Meeseeks, a humanoid robotics project focused on retail operations. The work examines how robot navigation and computer vision can support inventory scanning, with local models requesting actions through defined robot tools.
How we work
Clear communication
We discuss the constraints early. If an approach has limits or a result still needs testing, we say so.
Reliability
Software needs to be understandable after it ships. We treat deployment, logs, and recovery as part of the system, not work to leave until later.
Experimentation
Some questions need a prototype. We test the approach, look at where it fails, and use that evidence to decide what comes next.

Why we do this
We like working on problems where the software and the infrastructure have to be considered together. The goal is something people can use and maintain in their own environment. When a project produces research worth sharing, we want other developers to be able to inspect it, question it, and build on it.
